Dr. Steven Karnyski, MD
WNY Knee and Orthopedic Surgery, PC is pleased to announce that Dr. Steven Karnyski has joined our practice effective September, 2022. Dr. Karnyski is excited to be back in his hometown of Buffalo, NY after completing a Sports Medicine Fellowship in Los Angeles, California . While in California, he was the team physician for the LA Rams, LA Dodgers, Anaheim Ducks, and local colleges and high schools. This experience has taught him how to provide professional athletic care to every patient that came to the clinic.
Dr. Karnyski's overall goal as a Sports Medicine Physician is to keep people active and get them back to the activities they love as efficiently and safely as possible, which all starts with a prompt diagnosis and treatment plan. With offices in both the Northtowns and Southtowns he is confident he will be able to help patients attain this in a timely manner.
Dr. Karnyski is currently accepting new patients at both of our locations and is participating with most insurances.

When surgery is indicated, his surgical interests and sub specialty training include:
- Arthroscopic Knee Surgery including meniscal repair, debridement and ACL reconstruction.
- Arthroscopic Shoulder surgery including rotator cuff debridement, repair & instability stabilization
- Arthroscopic Hip surgery including inpingement decompression & labral repair.
- Open/arthroscopic elbow debridement & ligament reconstruction
- Anterior based Total Hip Replacements
- Total Knee Replacements
Dr. Karnyski is currently accepting new patients at both of our locations and is participating with most insurances.
